He was the owner of the companies dealing inter alia with assembly of computers, production of mineral water or press publishing. He successfully took over and developed a lot of companies requiring restructuring. Currently, the investment portfolio of the businessman includes, among others, companies from the railway, property development, construction, industrial automation, hotel, textile and even film industry. | |

Zbigniew Jakubas obtained inter alia the following awards: - in 2015 – the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta – for extraordinary achievements in professional work and social activity - in 2014 – the exclusive award on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, being the symbol of ethical conduct of business, sharing achievements with the society and investing in projects supporting the Polish industry - in 2013 – the award: Primus Innovatorum Transport Logistyka Infrastruktura (Primus Innovatorum Transport Logistics Infrastructure) - in 2010 – the award: Businessman of the twenty-year period 1990-2010 |
During the 19th WallStreet Conference, Zbigniew Jakubas was talking about the industries of the future. The investor also revealed his opinion on several hot companies from the Warsaw Stock Exchange and on the most important currency pairs.
Zbigniew Jakubas actively contributes to cultural and artistic activity through the Group’s companies, financing ventures, concerts or music performances. He has been supporting Jan Kiepura Festival in Krynica for many years. He proactively participates in auctions of the works of art, which not only support the cultural activity but are also used for realisation of charity purposes. The group companies have often been the patrons of the actions aimed at supporting young talents.
Zbigniew Jakubas announces his initiatives on business organisations forums and his activity meets appreciation of the bodies and communities that take advantage of it – he was awarded the title ‘The one that changes the Polish industry’ by the Polish Society for Supporting Enterprise inter alia for brave actions in business and realisation of wide-scale investments.
