Relying on its multi-year experience and knowledge, the Company offers the products that satisfy the customers’ individual requirements, adjusted to the specific conditions occurring on a given installation, while the modern technological solutions make them widely applicable in the most demanding branches of the industry (inter alia in the power engineering, chemical industry, petrochemical industry and gas industry).
Establishment of the company ‘KAHAPE’, the predecessor of ‘Polna’.
At the turn of 1925 and 1926, manufacture of casts from grey cast iron and of the licensed agricultural machines was commenced.
Launching of the manufacture of new products, including diaphragm-type spring-loaded pneumatic actuators. Registration of the first trademark.
Complete re-profiling of the activity into automation, central lubrication systems and laboratory apparatus.
Purchase of licences for manufacture of control valves and pneumatic actuators from Masoneilan.
Change of the previous name of the enterprise into Zakłady Automatyki ‘Mera’ Polna.
Transformation of the state-owned enterprise into a \joint-stock company wholly owned by the State Treasury, named: Zakłady Automatyki ‘POLNA’ S.A.
Privatisation of the Company through contribution of a part of shares of ‘POLNA’ S.A. to the National Investment Funds. Acquisition of Quality Management System certificate according to ISO 9001.
Acquisition of quality assurance system certificate according to Directive 97/23/WE Module H (manufacture of pressure equipment – industrial valves and fittings).
The main area of activity of the Company is manufacture of control valves for controlling of the flow of media in the industrial pipelines. The product offer is complemented by heat automation products, central lubrication products and water distillation devices. The products of ‘POLNA’ find their customers on the domestic market and on the foreign market. The main export directions are: Czech Republic, Germany and Russia. The products of the Company are sold all over the world through the distributors and the trade partners.
