Centrum Nowoczesnych Technologii S. A. has been quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1998. The Company has multi-year experience in construction of land & water civil engineering facilities and it concentrates the activity connected with hydro engineering and infrastructural orders for local government units. The company develops also new areas of business activity in the ITS and Smart City technology industry.
The history of Centrum Nowoczesnych Technologii S.A. dates back to 1968, when it began its activity as a state-owned company established in order to satisfy the equipment needs for the construction industry that was developing dynamically at that time. Initially, it functioned mainly in the area of equipment services and equipment lease, but with the passage of time the profile of its activity was modified while the company itself was improving and transforming.
As a result of these transformations, a joint-stock company named PEMB ‘Energopol’ S.A. was established. It was a company which significantly extended the range of its services and systematically entered new areas of business activity in the field of construction works.
The next years allowed the Company to acquire valuable experience and reinforce its position on the construction market. An important moment in the activity of ‘Energopol – Południe’ S.A. was introduction of the shares of the Company into public trading in 1998. The first quotation of the Company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange took place on 6 November 1998.
In 1999, a change of the articles of association of the Company as well as of the name of the Company into ‘Energopol – Południe’ Spółka Akcyjna took place.
On 12 December 2002, ‘Energopol-Południe’ S.A. was registered with the National Court Register (KRS).
The Company was awarded ‘Skrzydła Biznesu’ (Business Wings) prize granted by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (Daily Legal Newspaper) to companies which are able to develop despite difficult market conditions, using innovative solutions.
On 15 March 2013, a change of the Company’s articles of association as well as of its name into Centrum Nowoczesnych Technologii Spółka Akcyjna took place.
Since November 2014, the Capital Group of CNT S.A. has included GetEntra Sp. z o.o., operating on the electric energy trading market on the Polish Power Exchange.
A lot of years have passed since the stock exchange debut. The Company develops and transforms all the time while the consistent implementation of the adopted strategy for development and increase of value of the enterprise for the shareholders allow for a bold outlook for the future. The Company sets brave goals for itself, striving for their systematic achievement, while its aspiration for self-improvement is motivated by the care about the interest and satisfaction of the Investors and the Clients.
